Jesus Heals an Official’s Son | John 4:46-54

Wesley’s Warm Heart
Back in 1735, John Wesley (founder of Methodism) came to the British colonies to serve as an Anglican Pastor. The journey across the Atlantic was rough and Wesley was paralyzed in fear the whole time but noticed a group of Moravians who were singing throughout the storm. When they finally arrived, Wesley asked the leader about their calm in the midsts of the storm and the leader asked, “Do you have faith in Christ?” Wesley responded yes but later recalls he spoke in vain. Years later, Wesley admitted to a friend
he feared he didn’t have saving faith but his friend told him: “Keep preaching faith until you have it and when you have it, you will preach it.” In other words, fake it till you make it. And that’s exactly what Wesley did. But almost 50 years later, he had an experience that changed everything.
