The Good Shepherd | John 10:11-21
Today marks the beginning of the Eastertide season, which is the period from Easter culminating in Pentecost Sunday; when we’ll celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. Last week we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord from the dead and bolstered our resolve to live with resurrection hope that our Lord is indeed making all things new. So, we’re using this Eastertide season (5 Sundays) to continue our study of the remaining “I Am” statements of Jesus. Keeping in mind that the resurrection vindicates the
truth of Christ’s person and work. He’s the Messiah, God in flesh, who came to rescue us from sin and despair.
