Trusting in Jesus | John 14:1-14
We’ve been in John’s gospel since January and we have to agree that everything we’ve studied concerning Jesus, points to the fact that he’s trustworthy. We looked at his seven signs (miracles) and for the last few
weeks we’ve studied his “I Am” statements. What he says of himself and the implications that follow. Last week Lou put this right in our laps. Jesus declared to Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life… “Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” Then he said, “Do you believe this?” Do you trust what I’m saying is true? That’s the question for all of us. Because if what Jesus says of himself is true then the call is to trust in him in all aspects of
our lives.
