The Gospel According to the Old Testament | Luke 24:25-27
As Mark shared last week, we’re using this time between Easter Sunday and Ascension Sunday to look at the “Resurrection Stories” found in the 24th chapter of Luke’s Gospel. In that sermon, Mark took us through the first part of the story of two followers of Jesus walking on the road toward a town called Emmaus. Today we’ll look at the second part of that story—at Christ’s
response, and what that response meant for these two disciples, and what it might mean for us: not only in terms of how we’re to understand Scripture, but also in terms of how we’re to live
our lives.
