The Ministry of the Holy Spirit | Acts 13:1-2
Before his ascension, Jesus promised his disciples something far greater than they anticipated: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” When we turn the page, it’s the Day of Pentecost.1 And 120 Christ followers were gathered in prayer, then suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the house.2 Tongues like fire appeared and rested on each one. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.
