In this fourth season of women reading in community, Gospel Matters turns the focus toward the theology of Jesus. In his book Jesus the King, Tim Keller shares his insights into the life of Jesus, “the central event in cosmic and human history… as well as of our own lives.” Drawing from the gospel of Mark, Keller presents Jesus’s life in two acts, His identity as king over everything and His purpose in dying on the cross. Come read with us as we seriously consider the significance of His life in our own lives!

As you've probably heard or read, we're changing things up for this year's Fall Festival by turning it into a HUGE Community Block Party!

Our goal is to have at least 60 decorated cars for Trunk-or-Treat (be sure to reserve your spot - only 38 openings are left!), along with caricature artists, a balloon artist, hot dogs, desserts, and the Bean Coffee Bar truck. It's going to be a fantastic afternoon!

As we planned this event, we kept asking ourselves: What is the purpose of our Fall Festival? Is it for our kids? Absolutely! Is it for our neighbors? Yes - but we want to take that even further.

Our desire is for this event to become a true outreach opportunity, inviting not only our nearby neighbors, but also the people in our own neighborhoods to experience the love and hospitality of Tampa Covenant Church.

We're asking every TCC ministry - and every TCC family - to consider hosting a Trunk-or-Treat car. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our community what TCC is all about.

You can just give out candy from your trunk OR have an interaction activity to receive candy!

Here are some ideas to get you thinking:

Ring Toss | Decorate mini pumpkins | Answer a silly question

Bowling | A bracelet making station | Spin the wheel

Fall craft(s) | Tic-Tac-Toe | Make-A-Mask

Toss the bean bags | Decorate cookies | Fishing game

Every trunk helps create a fun, inviting, and memorable experience for the families who attend. More importantly, every trunk is an opportunity to build relationships and share the love of Christ with our community. Let's work together to make this the biggest and most impactful Fall Festival TCC has ever hosted!

Be sure to sign up here to decorate a trunk for trunk or treat, volunteer to help, or both!
